I have always loved beautifully printed photography and artist's books. In our modern digital world, photography is more and more being displayed only on our phone and tablet screens. I wanted to work with some of the best printers of photography books, artisans of the printing press, and present my work as individual small artworks in themselves...beautiful books as collectible artworks. And so, I founded Ten Avenues Press. I will continue to strive to bring gorgeous volumes to libraries and coffee-tables around the world.
Kauai is a hiking paradise. Following their two sold out coffee-table books MOTEL HOTEL and VIRGIN ISLAND, Todd Sanfield and photographer, Kevin McDermott trekked through this paradise to create their new book, KAPU. It is a collection of breathtaking nudes in this lush setting. But model/designer Todd Sanfield (above) lets us fantasize in Motel/Hotel, the new limited-edition photo book by lesman Kevin McDermott. All the images in the hardcover coffee-table tome were shot.
